COMER, Mr. Delwin-age 42, of Arizona passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, January 11, 2022 with a 10:30am family hour at Carpenter Road Apostolic Church, 4010 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI 48504. Calling hours are 1:00pm-6:00pm Monday, January 10, 2022 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. The final resting place for Mr. Comer will be River Rest Cemetery, Flint, MI. 

Delwin DeShawn Comer was born November 26, 1979 in Flint, MI, the son of Clifford Boxley and Ethel Lee Comer. He was a former resident of Flint and affiliated with Apostolic Church of Flint. Delwin worked for Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital. He enjoyed playing games, watching and attending sports events, grilling, movies, music and spending time with his family and friends. Delwin was a humble person and loved to joke and debate. He adored his grandchild and being a grandpa to her.

Delwin was preceded in death by: mother, Ethel Lee Comer; grandfather, Jesse Boxley Sr.; great great grandmother, Ethel Thomas; great grandfather, Edgar Allen Sr.; great grandmother, Modena Allen; uncle, Jesse Boxley Jr.; aunt, Leotri Mason; great uncle, Edgar Allen Jr., and Nathaniel Allen; great aunt, Beatrice Nichols and Tezzy Story; cousin, Frank Nichols and Yolanda Allen.
