Denise I have very fond memories.... growing up in Mt.Airy most knew of the big family on Mount pleasant avenue whose names all began with "D"(except one) and we later refreshed a relationship at McNally's; to this day I employee your Italian wedding soup recipe which you so generously shared with me in the late '80s... We had many good meetings- conversations- parties-bbq's and hilarious encounters.... I Will remember you! Many condolences to your family.

Deepest Condolences to the Jacoby Family from the Riling family. I will always remember her infectious smile and laugh. She was a huge part of the warmth I always felt when visiting your home on Mt. Pleasant Avenue. Please accept our prayers and heartfelt sympathies to the whole Jacoby family.

Denise always was smiling and made you laugh. She shared her love of life with everyone around her and you always felt better when seeing her. She had a fuller life than most of the people I know. It saddens me that she is gone but I can´t stop smiling when I think of her.

I was shocked to hear of Denise´s passing! We were childhood friends from Holy Cross ! Recently she came to the Dentist where I work and we were able to catch up on life ! I am so sorry and send my condolences and prayers to Jim and her children , especially to the Jacoby brothers and sisters whom most I have know since grade school !

I will always remember how kind of a heart Denise had. She was always there with an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a hug if needed and a laugh all the time. I will deeply miss her, her laugh and her exuberant kindness.

She was my first playmate. She introduced me to playing church, for which our parents deemed us sacrilegious, and Monopoly, at which she cheated shamelessly. To this day whenever I say or hear someone say "How bout it", I say/hear it in her voice. I loved laughing with her, drinking with her, and getting roasted by her. She was a true original who had a far harder life than she deserved, and faced it with more good humor than would most, in her shoes. Farewell, cuz. You will be deeply, deeply missed.

Dee and I met on rummykub on line, I was living in Milwaukee and one of my best friends there had a stroke and couldn't play any more so my husband found the rummykub site on line. I met a lot of really good friends here but Dee and I seemed more like sisters. We used to play until 2 or 3 in the morning. We laughed so much and so hard! Now I live in the Black Hills of SD, I always hope she and the girls could come out for a visit. I'm going to miss her terribly.

Every time Aunt Denise laughed, we would all laugh along with her! I will always remember sitting around the table for game nights at Devon Street, listening to Crosby, Stills, & Nash, drinking Miller Lites, and just laughing.
