Dad,

I thank my Father in Heaven for giving me such a great dad on Earth. I am blessed to have had 28 years with you, and I'd give anything to have 28 more. My God, I miss you.

I can feel you, hear you and see you everywhere. When I drive past Williams Village, I can see you moving me into the dorms and beaming with pride. When I hear the basketball on the hardwood, I think of shooting hoops with you. I loved the way you pulled me in under one arm and kissed my forehead. I still laugh at all of our inside jokes. I know today that you would have text messaged me and told me to drive safe because there was snow on the ground.

Not much is perfect in this world. But you were the perfect father. You were unbelievably patient and kind, and I had a heck of a fun time with you. I believe you were an earthly reflection of how God loves his children.

I love and miss you.

Britt

I have know Denny for about 17 years and I have many fond memories of him. As a young guy learning about the UAW, I looked to Denny for guidance and occasionally advice on how to handle things. Denny and I were often out of town together on Union business and he always included me in activities outside of the meetings. When my local was on strike, Denny and his local's President, Skip Lohr made sure that the GM workers donated cash and food to our striking members. I will miss Denny and my sincere condolences go to Debby and all the family.
