Dennis Allan Braddock

Dennis A. Braddock, 70, of Simpsonville, passed on January 2, 2023, in the loving care of his wife, Phyllis E. Braddock. Dennis was the son of the late Raymond and Muriel (Caldwell) Braddock.

Dennis had an exuberant love for life, but his love for his adoring wife Phyllis, no words could describe. Dennis graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. He served in the US Army and learned electronics and continued his electronics knowledge attending Sylvania Tech in Massachusetts. He started his own business in electronics, installing high end sound systems.

Dennis was a man of many talents. He began master woodworking, making museum quality pieces. He loved outside activities, including archery and photography. Dennis was an avid deep sea fisherman, his greatest love was his love for his yearly deep sea fishing trip with his great team of deep sea fishing buddies.

In addition to his loving wife, Phyllis, he is survived by his beloved sister, Kathryn (Braddock) Burroughs and her husband, James of Bridgewater, MA; a brother, the late Kenneth A. Braddock; and nephew Scott Braddock of Lakeville, MA. Dennis also leaves behind many special friends.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607 followed by A Celebration of Life. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Graceland East, 2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680 or to a charity of your choice.
