Dennis Harold Dickson, 78, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away on March 13, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dennis was an athlete and later coached many young men. His love for the Steelers and Fox News provided him with plenty to discuss. As an educator, he enjoyed teaching children how to write and was known for his numerous stories and unique perspectives on life. He always rooted for the underdog and cherished good home cooking.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Lonnee Dickson, sons Cory and Tate Dickson, granddaughter Elizabeth, and brother Al Dickson. He is predeceased by his father, Harold Sumner Dickson, and mother, Elizabeth Johnson Dickson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
