Sorry to hear of Denny´s passing. I met him around 2015 through my in-law´s. Even though I was somewhat of a stranger to him he was kind enough to allow us to use Ansley Clubhouse for our wedding rehearsal dinner. I got to know Denny much more in the years after and also traded referrals with him through work. Denny was such a kind and good person and cared about everyone he came in contact with. I´ll always remember his kindness to our family. A great man and good Dawg, we will miss you Denny. -Russell Goldman

Denny was several years younger than I but I got to know him from his 2 older brothers and through fraternity events....All 3 of the McClelland brothers were Chi Phi's at the University of Georgia as was I......Denny was always a really happy, fun loving guy when our paths crossed and an honor to know....His passing has moved through the fraternity grapevine and so many are sad that he is gone...Those unable to attend the service are thinking of him and will remember him always......Nelson Goss Turner

Denny was a great friend. He was always so funny, pleasant and engaging. For sure he had tons of friends. I will miss saying goodbye to him in person Thursday with all his friends around. I will be there in spirit and what Comforts me now is that he is in Heaven with his Luanne. The real great times have just begun for them. One day I’ll see you both again.

John and I are so saddened to hear of Denny’s death. He was such a wonderful guy. Always friendly and helpful. He loved his wife so much and was still not over losing her to cancer couple of years ago. He will be missed by all especially his three children. Prayers for the family and our deepest sympathy
Love, Marlene & John Cherry

Denny was a great NYO volunteer. He was an outstanding Coach in baseball, basketball & football. One of NYO’s most popular coaches & everyone’s friend. RIP.
