DENNIS B. SAYLOR, 63, of Payne, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at his residence. Born on Jan. 5, 1944, in Middlesboro, Ky., he was a Supervisor at Triple Crown Rail Transportation in Fort Wayne. He had previously worked for B.F. Goodrich of Woodburn, Ohio, for 25 years. He was a member of Payne Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Penny Saylor of Payne; two sons, Brian (Marian) Saylor and Zachary Saylor, both of Payne; three daughters, Christina (Scott) Kushion of Laingsburg, Mich., Nicole (Eddie) Worrell of Fort Wayne, and Jenelle Wagaman of Payne; son-in-law, Curt Hershburger of Grover Hill, Ohio; two brothers, Leman (Freddie) Saylor and Lennis (Lula) Saylor, both of Payne; three sisters, Lois (Donald) Greninger of Payne, Vivian (Duane) Copsey of Iola, Kan., and June (Karl) Bredemeyer of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Payne Church of the Nazarene, Payne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne. Memorials to the family. Arrangements by Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, Ohio.

Penny and family,

My heart hurts for your loss. I am glad I had a chance to meet a wonderful Christian and man. Christ has another faithful soldier in Dennis standing right next to Him.

I had the fortune to work with Dennis a long time ago, back 1970's at BF Goodrich. He helped me not only by his knowledge but by his character; honesty, sense of respect for others, and a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family.
