Dennis Jay Tibbitts, 56, of Woodlawn passed away Dec. 15, 2009. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Lake O' The Pine Baptist Church. Dennis Jay Tibbitts was born March 13, 1953, in Great Falls, Montana to Tom Tibbitts and Eletha Hauskin Peete. On Sept. 4, 1982, he married Bebe Jay Johnson in Marshall. He enjoyed taking photographs and took pictures in all the Auntie Skinner events and Boo Benefits events. Dennis participated in the Civil War reenactment in Jefferson. He is survived by his wife, Bebe Tibbitts of Woodlawn; sons, Harold Faucett III and wife Lynel of Woodlawn, Brad Faucett and wife Amy of Scottsville and Dennis Jay Carroll and wife Judy of Marshall; grandchildren, Josh Carroll, Allison Jimmerson, Harold Faucett IV, Denver T. Faucett, Kyler Moore and Ashley Starr; sister, Sharon Smith of Kansas City, Kan.; brothers, Tom Tibbitts of San Augustine, Fla., and Bruce Peete of Marshall; niece, Desiree' Bean of Jefferson; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Tibbitts; and son, James Carroll. Downs Funeral Home
