This guy was a helluva lot of fun to be around when he wasn't working. He was an extremely hard working trader and as a result made a lot of dinero. Will miss his skinny legs (wouldn't wear long pants) and deep voice and sometimes rowdy behavior. Mink coats was one of his trademarks, which helped covered his legs. ha-ha. Miss you Dex, Doug De Lano

Dexter, today is Easter Sunday 2007. I was speaking of you today and saying how kind you had been to me. No words can express my shock to find this web page when I was searching for an email for you. We met in the mid 80s and you have always been so gracious. You showed me one single act of kindness I will never forget. In 1998 when you allowed me to attend your 30 year Mesa high school reunion with you because Jamie was in a play and was not available to go with us (but you were both so great she would have insisted I go along), you introduced me to my real birth father, Jim(James)Rock. I tell this story over and over...........You did not have to do this for me and you were so smooth and caring. After all the years we had been friends and discovered you had actually gone to high school with my dad was unbelievable, but that you were so willing to be the one to introduce us, I will never forget. At the reunion, you were such an impact on the whole crowd, I was just proud to know you. I will forever owe you and will keep on telling this story and sing your praises as long as I live. You changed my life forever and I will always remember you.

Dexter,

I'm one of your oldest friends... in terms of age and years of friendship/acquaintenceship. I'll always remember meeting you at PC on "Senior Day"--those late-night "visits" to Papago Park after work, the drive-ins (I had passes), and trying to meet you head-on with sarcasm. Hey! Who was wittier? Who was quicker? Thanks to George and Jay Davies for all the events where we were both invited. It allowed you to meet my boys (who were VERY impressed--especially with your cars)and let us catch up now and then. Everyone is saying "One in a Million," and that's not nearly good enough.

Dexter,

Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You made me laugh through times I thought I couldn't. I will terribly miss the stories of your great adventures of the weekend and even more so the time you took out to talk to me when I needed some one to listen. I will forever admire your work ethic & the way you lived life with out leaving a stone unturned. I will never forget you taking a trip to LV just to have a drink with me & my friends just because it was my birthday, we had so many laughs you came to NY to do it again the following year, that among many others are the memories that will forever stay with me. It was a pleasure working with you and even more so having you as a friend. Rest in peace Dexter, You will be terribly missed & always remembered.

Dexter
I did not know you but we often talked at the latest hotspots, if it was new and hip you were there.
Rarely did I find a hot spot before you…
You always acknowledged me with a classy wink “the kind that came from the rat-pack era”, "we talked about Bentleys and Baby-Dolls".
Just so you know Dexter all the hip new places will miss that ever-cool wink and none of them have Bentleys parked out front!
I am sure that you left us for the next hip place with a great deal of class.

Dexter was the one man you couldn't help but love. He had a kind heart, witty personality, amazing spirit and was adored by many. I was honored to have had the opportunity to know him as long as I did. He will be sadly missed and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

You had a light that washed over everyone around you.

Your wit, wisdom and remarkable charisma always touched me. Thank you for being my friend and making me feel special each and every time I was around you.

I will miss.

I imagine you in heaven giving the masses some pretty good fashion tips. You had the very best sense of style - both inside and out!

Thanks for being my friend. You made it fun to work in what some percieve as a hostile environment. Your dry humor will be sorely missed. And yes I DARE
