Diamanda 'Mindy' Mormando Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 85 Mrs. Diamanda "Mindy" Mormando (nee Magnacavallo), 85, of Belleville, N.J., passed away on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 in CareOne at Morris, Parsippany, N.J. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville, at 9:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, N.J. Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. For directions or to send online condolences, please visit our website at www.biondifuneralhome.com Mrs. Mormando was born in San Costantino, Potenza, Italy, and immigrated to Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1949, residing there until 1975, when she moved to Belleville. She was a loving homemaker to her family. Mrs. Mormando is survived by her devoted children, Maria Cerrato and her husband, Robert, and Richard Mormando and his wife, Margaret; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Romanelli and her husband, Michael; Justin Cerrato and his wife, Lindsay; Jared Cerrato, Gianna Mormando and Anthony Mormando, and her precious great-grandchildren, Justin and Julian Cerrato, and Sofia Romanelli. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 44 Middle Ave., Summit, N.J. 07901, komennorthjersey.org.
