Diana Gail Graham

Lexington - Diana Gail Graham Dr. Diana Gail Graham, of Lexington, died on August 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Diana was born on October 29, 1957, to Lorena Pauley Graham and Dr. James B. Graham, former Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts. Diana was a 1975 graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Western Kentucky University where she obtained a Bachelors and Masters Degree and also taught English to undergraduate students. After obtaining these degrees, she went on to earn her PhD in English from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She accomplished these things while suffering from many health challenges. Although she battled health problems throughout her life, these illnesses never prevented her from being a fantastic sister, a steadfast and caring friend, and a dedicated prayer warrior.

She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Hon. Janet Marie Graham and Earl Reynolds of Lexington, a close cousin, Ann Pauley of Lexington and Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Graham of Huntsville Alabama, a beloved Aunt and Uncle. The family would like to thank Pastor Monty Stallins, Reverend Kevin Raybuck, and Reverend Carrie Beth Tonks of Calvary Baptist Church for their loving attention to Diana during her lengthy illness. The family would also like to thank caring friends, Nancy Goldfarb of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Michelle Maher of Pennsylvania who provided love and support to Diana throughout her life. Finally, the family would also like to thank Diana's excellent caregivers, Rakshya Upreti, Kathi Uzzel, Vonda Wallace and Catherine Honcoop for their devoted attention and dedication.

A memorial service for Diana will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025, at 10 am at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers to honor Diana, the family asks that contributions in her memory be made to Calvary Baptist Church or God's Pantry Food Bank.
