Diana Hoy Alston Smith Obituary
She is survived by her husband of seventeen years Hugh Smith, her daughters Cindy Forest (Milton), Samantha Redding (Darrell), and her sons Joshua Alston (Linzy) and Jeremy Alston (Anna). Grandchildren Ashley Forest-Adams (Michael), Emily Mckee (CJ), Bailey Forest, Samuel B. Alston, and great granddaughter Sophia Adams. Brothers Dean Hoy, Delvin Hoy and James Mckenzie, along with many other family members. She is preceded by her mother Beverly Mckenzie, sister Donna Hoy, and late husband Samuel "Sammy" Alston.
Celebration of Life Observances will be held at the following:
Friday August 4th from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Magnolia Spring Community Center 14775 Oak Street Magnolia Springs, AL 36555
Saturday August 12th 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Boulevard Baptist Church 885 Church Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child in her honor.

We graduated high school together and became good friends when we worked together at a local hospital. She was a fun, resourceful and determined person. We were gardening and travel buddies. She will be missed. Prayers for her loved ones.
