AGE: 37 • Townsend, DE
Diana Lee Wertz of Townsend, DE, passed away on December 28, 2014 at the age of 37. She slipped on her ruby red slippers and took her trip over the rainbow.
Diana enjoyed family time, crafts, music, movies and dedicated most of her time taking care of her children. She was a unique individual that walked to the beat of her own drum.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Udinski; her aunt, Judy Riley; her nephew, Jimmers Starkey; and her cousin, Dan-Dan Sniadecki. She is survived by four children, Patrick, Matthew, Bianca and Jackson; her parents, Janet Taylor and Tom Taylor; her sisters, Pam & Jessica Taylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and chosen family.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 6 pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, where Funeral Services will begin at 7 pm.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests financial contributions to defray funeral expenses. Diana's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Season's Hospice. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneral home.com.
