Diane Lum Obituary
June 3, 1944 - Jan. 12, 2008
Diane D. Lum, 63, of Anderson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jan. 12, 2008, at Saint John's Medical Center in Anderson, following a sudden illness.
She was born June 3, 1944, in Hackensack, N.J., to Everett and Doris (Bradford) Dwiggins.
She graduated from Lapel High School.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Douglas N. Lum; four children, Dawn (husband, Steven) Pitts of Anderson, Scott (wife, Crista) Lum of Lynn, Debra Taylor of Pendleton and Daniel (wife, Amy) Lum of Cicero; eight grandchildren, Amanda Lum, Aaron Taylor, Jonathon Lum, Christian Lum, Makenzie Taylor, Clayton Keller, Cameron Taylor, and Justin Lum; stepfather, Jerry Nelson; and five stepsisters. Also surviving is her beloved pet, Lucky.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main St., Lapel, with Rev. Jerry Hilligoss officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the Tuesday service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners’ Childrens’ Hospitals.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Diane, I remember her when I was a little girl. My aunt Jeannie and Uncle Robert Sanders lived next door. She was a nice lady. My family and I will keep her and her family in our prayers.
