Uncle Dickson,
Amongst many lovely memories, I will always remember you trying to teach me to dance as a clumsy 13 year old stepping on your toes. 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4.
I will always remember your patience, that glint of humour in your eyes, the camera happy grin, and the love for your family. So lucky to have had you as an Uncle.

Dad,
The Lord called you home suddenly and way too soon, it has left a void in our hearts. You are truly missed each and every day. Thank you for the wonderful legacy you left behind in your children and grandchildren. I will always remember your smile, laughter and kind hearted spirit - you definitely were one in a million!

Dickson taught me many things. Some were very practical, like how to use a blow torch to remove a rusted bolt. The other things however, were maybe a little more abstract, but highly more valuable. Like how he was quick to laugh, and very patient and generous with others. And also, that it was ok for a grown man to dance in public, and that you could look damn sharp doing it.
It makes me sad to know that he's gone, but I'm very glad that our paths crossed.

Dad,
Thank you for always being so cheerful, kind, and giving. You were happiest helping others and you truly have helped so many with simple acts of kindness. Thank you for the heritage you have given to your family. We miss you.

Dear Rose and family,
I was fortunate to teach dance to Dickson for several years, and it was always a very great pleasure. He was a sweet, funny, considerate man. It is poignant to me that he passed so close to Halloween, as I always remember how much Dickson enjoyed Halloween! Best wishes to you all. I will always remember him fondly.
My heartfelt sympathies.

Dear Dickson,
There are few things in life of greater value than a long, unspoiled friendship. Thank you for so graciously sharing your family and faith with me. It is remarkable to me that we never passed an unkind word but had so many great conversations about our Lord. Thank you, too for being my brother in Christ. Rest in His peace, my friend.
Love,
Vic

Our hearts physically hurt with the pain of missing you. Too soon, missed conversations, not enough stories passed on. We love you and I see you in me and in my sons. You will always be part of us. Thank you for your sacrifices and foresight. Our success in life and Faith in God was formed by you. We love you and think of you constantly.
Love, your son,
