William Robert Doskocil

William R. Doskocil, age 64, of Hayward, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday March 8, 2014. Bill was born on January 8, 1950 in Berwyn, Illinois. He grew up and graduated from high school in Lombard, Illinois. In 1967 Bill moved to Stone Lake with his parents and sister.
Bill received a Bachelor's Degree in Speech/Communication in 1971 from UW-Superior. He held various sales positions in his career, most recently with the WHSM radio family. Bill greatly enjoyed his "on air" time broadcasting sports with Hans Evans. Bill found great comfort in his faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He lived his faith and tried to fill the shoes of Pastor David Perkins at Christian Fellowship Ministries.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Delores and Robert Doskocil of Stone Lake. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sheila, his sister Cheryl (Mark) Paine of Hayward, WI, Son Jason (Lori) Doskocil of Grantsburg, WI, Daughter Jenny (Vance) Boelter of Shakopee, MN, Step-son Shane (Carie) Tull of Georgetown, KY , Step-daughter Staci (Greg) Tollers of Eau Claire, WI, and his 13 beloved grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life, Jake, Grace, Kellen, Avery, Faith, Riley, Aiden, Hope, Jessi, Halle, David, Josie and Joy. He was also close to his niece Katie (Patrick) Eaton, Elizabeth, Tyler and Molly Eaton and nephew Tom Paine.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M Saturday March 15, 2014 at the Christian Fellowship Church, 15580 US Highway 63, Hayward, with a visitation 1 hour prior to service, 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will follow the memorial service. Memorials preferred to the family.
