I have known Don since we both were in our 20's. I have had the privilege of working with him as a fellow elder for many years --- handling assembly/ convention assignments and caring for many other responsibilities. Jehovah will not forget any of Don's hard work and sacrifices. We look forward to the resurrection of this spiritual man in the Paradise just ahead. Keep on enduring and serving our loving God until then.

Regina,
I work in Honolulu Stores and got to know Don as a fellow DST trainer. Don was a very good trainer and I admired his speaking skills and willingness to help others. My deepest sympathy for you and your family. He will be missed in the United Stores family.

My heart is broken. Don has always been a special person to me! I am not sure if was because of his ability to communicate with me as an equal, if it was because I looked at him as a great mentor, if it was because his laughter would warm my being, if it was because his smile was so infectious or just because I was inspired to have the same spirit that he had for his God. Maybe it was just all of those. Although we just worked together I could feel his passion for being a man of God. My prayers are with his loved ones and family because, I know they will truly miss him as I. As a believer I am encourage by the words of Paul to the Philippians, “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Jesus, thank you so much for allowing Don to leave such a beautiful impact in my life.

Regina, Don was a good friend and a lovely man. He always sent my wife copies of the Awake! and Watchtower magazines, which she much appreciated. Don always had a kind word and was ready to help others in any way he could. We will miss him very much.

My deepest sympathy for your loss of such a fine and inspiritional man, I had worked with Don for many years. He gave all of us a lift of inspiritional need to keep us going at low and high points. Don was someone I always could depend on to assist me, he was my right hand, I was blessed to know him. Know he is now with God watching over all of his flock.

My heart is broken from the loss of such a dear friend and spiritual father. I'm so thankful for the privilege to have known Br. Crawley, and work shoulder to shoulder with him. A true modern day servant to imitate; Br. Crawley was a success as a servant of the true God, he was a success as a man.
With love I send my condolences to you, Regina and family.

Regina, my name is Sandra Long. I met you and Bro. Crawley over 30 years ago at your mom's house. I used to ride to the meetings with she and Fred. I'm so sorry about your loss. I always enjoyed Bro. Crawley's parts on the convention program. He was so well thought of by many. Realistically, the thought of facing the remainder of this system without him will seem overwhelming at times, but what a blessing to serve Jehovah, the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials. Very soon, Jehovah will call, and the dead will answer. What a time of rejoicing that will be! I will certainly keep you and your family in my prayers. With warm Christian love, Sandra Long Greensboro, Alabama

Regina, so many memories and so at a lost for words. When I think of Don I think Crispus, Joshua, the long cold ride to Minnesota, the two of you as young sweethearts, drama rehearsals with Ike Little, fiery Sis Crawley owning her character role. Many faces now resting, waiting for the sound of the key unlocking the gates of Sheol; and Don among them, chomping at the bit to get back to work. Its funny how our paths crossed unkowingly over the years. I know Fukuoka very well. Oyasumi nasai, Kyodai....C McCray

So very sad for the loss of Bro Crawley. I absolutely loved his talks. He gave a talk at our RC back in June. Right down to the end Jehovah used him to the full. It's a sad time, but joyous to know that we will see him again in paradise!!
