Bay Minette - Don Carlton Crouch, 88, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, in Bay Minette, Alabama. Born on July 13, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee, Don lived a life full of love, adventure, and devotion to his family.

Retired Master Chief, U.S. Navy, Don Crouch dedicated his career to serving his country, achieving numerous accomplishments in the Navy. His passion for travel and exploration extended beyond his military career, as he cherished every opportunity to see the world and create lasting memories with those he loved.

Don was loved by his children: Paula Cole (Perry), Donna Crouch, Jeff Crouch (Sheila), Stacey Blackmore (Keith), Renee Goodrich (Adam), Nicole Nestor (Stephen), and Kara Garris (Joanna). His legacy continues through his 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, who will forever cherish his wisdom, humor, and unwavering support.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Crouch, his parents, Virgil Crouch and Lucille Griffith Crouch Oldham, and his sisters, Ann Crouch and Carolyn Sanders. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Walden (Will), along with countless friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 7, 2025, at Spring Hill Cemetery.

Don's life was a testament to love, service, and the joy of adventure. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

What can I say about years of trips to so many places, taking kids in wild caves, rafting trips down the Ocoee. There were parties at Knight Rd and at the Lake. Long hikes around the lake. Both were apart of our family
