Don was a more than just a man, father and husband. He was a hero. He was a rose that grew from concrete. He was a fighter, both literally and figuratively. He came from humble beginnings and created a life for himself. He fought for this country and saved lives that were doing the same. He survived death many times. And like a phoenix that rises from the ashes of war and death. He continued to live, love and care for those around him more than anything. Zeta was his truest passion, and I have no doubt, they are renewing that passion as we mourn.
God Bless You Dangerous Don!

I met Don and Zeta many years ago when Zeta was going through her bariatrics surgery. What an incredible couple they both were. Whike being very humble, they spoke of their children with great pride and their life felt treasured. My condolences to your family.

"Dangerous Don" beamed when a baby came by; holding one was even better. He was a tender warrior, filled with love and great stories. Sure we all heard them before but, tell em again, Uncle Donny! You made the world a better place.
Love,
Uncle Yonny
