Uncle Don was a good man, and I cherished the time we spent together.

I loved every moment working with Don these past few years. We had a running joke about me behaving myself and my not stepping out on him.. I will miss his easy going nature and quick smile. I grew to truly love him and had a great amount of respect for him. I know that one day not long from now, for time on this earth is short, I will see my good friend again.

I will miss Don's good morning hugs and bright smile. He will be so missed by all of us at Grill on the Hill. I so enjoyed his storys he would share with me and Larry while we had coffee in the mornings. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family who he adored and spoke of often.

My friend I will miss you. It was a privilege to know and work with Don. He loved to joke and tease . After visiting with him you could tell he loved his family very much. Charish the memories and you will have him with you forever. With Deepest Sympathy , Hazel Poplin
