Donald Eugene Stapleton, 60 years old, of Edwardsburg; was Promoted to Glory on September 24th, 2022 at his home after battling an illness. Donald was born August 10th, 1962 in Muncie, IN, the son of Benny and Rita (Johnson) Stapleton. After high school, Donald went into the United States Navy and served 3 years he then served 3 years in the Reserves. Donald worked in manufacturing and Robotics, to support his most important assets, his wife and his girls.

Donald was married in 1994 in Gatlinburg, TN, to Tammy Lynn Cole and she survives with two daughters, Shay (Jeremiah) Egbert of Constantine, MI and Shena (Chris) Fowler of Edwardsburg, MI. There are 10 grandchildren; Raymond, Raylynn, Autumn, James, Quentin, Landon, Abigail, Alexander and Malachi. Also the following siblings; Lynn, Cindy, Mark, Randy and David. Family who proceeded Don in passing are his parents Benny and Rita, step-father Don and his sister Kathryn.

Cremation has taken place and the Service of Remembrance will be on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main Street, Edwardsburg. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM. The Service will begin at 2:00 PM and will be conducted by Don's brother, Pastor Randy Stapleton. Inurnment will follow at the Adamsville Cemetery with the United States Navy Honor Guard playing Taps and folding the American Flag. They will be assisted by the Edwardsburg American Legion /VFW conducting the 21-gun salute. The Celebration of Life will follow at the Edwardsburg American Legion, 25751 US-12, Edwardsburg.

Arrangements are by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
