FOREST _ Donald Joseph 1920 - 2003 Donald Joseph Forest, beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) Forest of Calgary, passed away from a sudden heart attack on Thursday, November 27, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Don Forest, well known mountain climber, skier, canoeist and engineer. He was a member of the Alpine Club of Canada, the Calgary Mountain Club, the Royal Canadian Legion and Appegga. Friends will be happy to know that Don died doing what he loved best; skiing with his family in the mountains that he often referred to as "his back yard". He is survived by his loving wife Peggy (Margaret) Forest; and his children, Kathy Calvert (Dale Postman), Ken Forest (Darlene Forest), Susan Forest (Don Totten), and Sylvia Forest (Randy Fingland). His grandchildren are, Tara Forest, Amber Forest, Heather Osborne, Alec Osborne, Holly Totten, and Amy Totten. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.), on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Woodcliff United Church (5010 Spruce Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
