Val,
I worked with Don at Eckert Seamans. We usually kept in contact once or twice a year. I was just thinking I had not heard from him last year. I then discovered his passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish I had known at the time. Don was a wonderful man who spoke of you and Taylor often. He was a great friend and co worker.

Mrs. Garrity and Taylor, I am so sorry to hear of your husband and dad's passing. If I had known, I would've come to the funeral home. You ate in my prayers.

I had worked with Don at both Eckert and at Babst. Though I was a consultant, we became professional friends who held each other in high regard. He was a good man and his parting with this plane will be felt by many of us. My prayers to the entire Garrity family.

Valerie, Taylor, Alysia, Jason and other members of the Garrity family:
I was very saddened when I was told about the tragic loss of Don. Please accept my sympathies to you and your family (and Sawyer too).
I was a lawyer at Babst Calland (recently retired) and first met Don when he came to that law firm. He always treated me well. In addition to some work-related stuff, we often chatted about a number of topics of mutual interests, including sports, our favorite TV shows and dogs! Also, being a nearly resident of Whitehall, but having many of my family members who live in Bethel Park, Don and I often talked about matters happening in our respective neighborhoods ... and a few local sports rivalries.
Don was a wonderful person. I will miss him.
