Donald Hunt Obituary

Donald Hunt, of South Plymouth died Monday afternoon at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Brockton on October 29, 1943, son of Richard and Julia Hunt, Donald is the former owner of Dicks Marine Brokerage of Wareham, a successful full service boat yard he ran together with his brothers Bob Hunt of Middleboro and Dick Hunt of Ninilchik, AK. He is survived by both brothers, his wife Mary, three sons, and seven grand children. Donald will be remembered most for his integrity, his warmth, and his love of family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10 at 11 am at the Swift Memorial United Methodist Church in Sagamore Beach. It was Donalds wish for no gifts or flowers be sent in his remembrance. Instead for those who wish, a donation to the United Methodist Church Relief fund may be made at the memorial service or you can contact the church (508-888-0170). We were saddend to hear of Donny's passing. Donny had the best smile and a laugh that was contagious. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of great times spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with you.
