My heartfelt sympathies go out to your family during this difficult time. I hope the promise in 1Thessalonians 4:14 can bring much comfort. Just knowing that theres a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

To the King Family,
On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Don's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Don, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS IREX SS-482 during World War II, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin, a member of our Greatest Generation, and a great Patriot.
