Donald Latham Obituary
Donald had a long career as a bus driver and retired from the Birmingham Transit Authority. He served our country in the US Air Force. He loved to fish. He was a wonderful family man, dearly loved his family and cherished all the time he spent with them, he will be greatly missed.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Russell L. Latham and Mattie Lou Perry Latham.
Donald is survived by his son, Randy Latham (Phyllis); his daughter, Vickie Strong (Mike); brother, Allen Latham; sisters, Francis Atchinson and Libba Smith (David); five grandchildren, Scott Latham (Mandy), Justin Latham (Rachel), Joseph Cason (Holly), Sarah Thomas (Shane), and Jonathan Cason; four great grandchildren, Addyson Kate Latham, Eli Allen Latham, Covington Shane Thomas, and Rhett Parker Latham, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Celebration of life services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 1:00 pm; service at 3:00pm, followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama.
