Donald Lovett Obituary
Donald Roy Lovett, 75, of Westlake passed away at his residence Monday December 14th, 2015.
He served in the Marines. He was a member of Local 406 Operating Engineers,
the business manager of the SW Labor Counsel, owner of PDQ Contractors and All Bonds by Lovett. Donald was a very caring person and helped many.
He is survived by Carolyn, his loving wife of 52 years, son Michael Lovett and wife Lisa of Westlake, daughter Rhonda Richard and husband Troy of Westlake, grandchildren Paige and Kaitlyn Lovett, Ryan Thomason, Reagan and Summer Richard, brother Doc Rodney Lovett and wife Tonette of Houghton, LA., sisters Dolores Lovett of West Virginia, Debra Doucet and husband Blair of Westlake, Delma Wright and husband Alvin of Ragley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Doc and Thelma Lovett, brothers Douglas, Daniel, and David Lovett, sisters Dorthey Baggett, and Devenia Newman.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4pm to 9pm at Hixson of Westlake and will resume Wednesday at 10 am until time of service, which will be at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
