Donald Pelino Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 31, 2025.
Pelino, Donald E.

Gates: Friday, May 23, 2025, at age 83. Predeceased by his daughter, Dr. Nancy Pelino-King. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret [Marcello] Pelino; daughters, Jeannie Pelino and Margaret "Peggy" (Richard) Klinger; son-in-law, Donald King; grandchildren, Matthew King, Natalie and Bejamin Klinger; brothers, C. Richard Pelino and Douglas (Maureen) Pelino; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donald graduated from St. Monica's grammar school in 1955 and from

Aquinas Institute in 1959. He worked at Tobin Packing Co.

( where he met his bride, Marge) until May 1967. During Don's active-duty status with the U.S.A.R., he was trained as an Army electrician. Don worked at T.H. Greene in June of 1967, resulting in his enrollment in the J.A.T.C. Union Apprenticeship program. He attended additional schooling at Monroe Community College.

Donald was employed by Eastman Kodak Company.

Don was faithful and devoted to his wife, 3 daughters, his grandkids, relatives, and to his community. Don was a

Don and I both graduated from Aquinas in 1960. I remember him as one of the real nice guys of our class. All the photos indicate that he had a very rewarding life. My sympathy to the family. R.I.P.

We enjoyed living next door to Marge and Don for about 10 years. They were the nicest true loving people you could ever meet. Don had the kindest smile and always very quick witted. We always enjoyed our conversations which were many. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family, he surely was the rock!
