Don Sweat will be remembered by many admirers for his unique humor, steadfast loyalty, and unique insight into marine resource problems, some quite contentious. Don has routinely helped people realize there are many ways to pursue solutions when one keeps a positive attitude. He will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know him; and those memories will sustain his friends during his passage from this life.

don brought great joy to us on a Viking Rhein River cruise in 2016. Wishing him fair winds and following seas and comfort and closure for his friends and family. Sadly another good man is gone to a better place.
