Rev. Donald Ray Waldrop Spartanburg, SC Rev. Donald Ray Waldrop, 72, formerly of 20 Henderson Street, Lot F, Inman, South Carolina, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg. Donald was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on July 21, 1947, a son of the late Marion Calvin Waldrop and Ruth Juanita Johnson Waldrop. He was a graduate of Chapman High School, class of 1967, a graduate of Florida Bible College and attended Spartanburg Technical College. Rev. Waldrop served as pastor for several churches in Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina. He also was employed with Dish Network and retired from there. Donald was a member of Gowensville Baptist Church. Donald is survived by a son, Jerry Lee Waldrop, of Inman, South Carolina; a brother, William Carroll Waldrop and his wife Kerry, of Inman, South Carolina; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Rev. Waldrop was predeceased by a son, Terry Lee Waldrop; a brother, J.C. Waldrop and a sister, Janice Waldrop Cromer. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Seawright Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Foundation Carolinas Chapter, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131. It being over a month when I lost my dad, and I miss him dearly, I wish he was here, to help me in this scare times, rest peace dad!

So sorry for your loss, I Remember Donald Ray, I lived on "e" street and most of us Kids played in the back alley, I was a little older that he was, but I remember him well. He was a good kind person. May God be with all of you during your time of sorrow.
