Donna J. Adelman

A private Catholic funeral mass will be held in Phoenix, AZ, for Donna Adelman, aged 80, who passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2022. Donna's final resting spot will be alongside her beloved husband, Gene, in Calvary Cemetery's Columbarium, St. John wing, in Anoka, MN. Born in August of 1941, to Oscar & Elinor (Ludwig) Ruprecht, Donna grew up in Eden Valley, MN, and graduated from Eden Valley High School. While in high school, Donna was the majorette for the school's marching band. After graduating, Donna moved to St. Cloud and attended Drews Business College.
In 1960, while attending a dance at the Granite City Coliseum, she met Gene; and they married in the fall of 1963. Through the years, Donna worked as an accountant, executive secretary, and office manager; although, home and family were always her top priority.
She enjoyed traveling, hiking, and flower gardening. She will be remembered for her kind heart and her upbeat personality. Donna was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Anoka, MN. She enjoyed helping out where ever she was needed, be it working a booth at the annual Summerfest, or teaching Faith Formation to students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Donna is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Gene; her parents, Oscar & Elinor Ruprecht, and her brother Harold. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Holm (Christopher); her sisters, Shirlee Linn (James), and Janet Quinn.
