Donna Bell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 24, 2022.
My darling wife and partner has gone to be with the Lord God in the afterlife. She suffered for two years with Leukemia. At the end it was merciful that the lord took her to be with him and our daughter Rebecca Lynne. I'm sure that our daughter Rebecca Lynne Bell, my mother and father James Bell and Ruth Bell as well as her mother and father Frances Hagar and Ruby Swearngan Hager McCoy were at the gate waiting with all the love only family can have.

Donna had a rich and varied life, having been a professional Dolphin trainer and then becoming instrumental in steering Duke Energy's nuclear dosimetry team in it's early days of entering the nuclear age.

Donna is missed by all who knew her. She is survived by me, Thomas Bell her husband or forty years, Our daughter Carly Coats our son Donnie Bell and his wife Holly with their children Lauren and Cameron as well as our daughter Beth Woodfin her husband Labron and their daughter Becca.

She is also survived by her sister Cheryl Turner and brothers Stan Hager and Billy Hager. With so many other family members too numerous to list.

Swimming at night in Lake George. What a wonderful life we had on the road with the dolphin shows. You show up in my thoughts and dreams frequently.

You and Becca were in my dreams the other night. It was like we had never been apart. Hoping you are happy and enjoying your new mission. Love you.

We crossed paths at Levine several times since Ray has AML, also. It was so great to have caught up with her and laugh about some of our shenanigans. She's with Becca and missing Carly and Tom. But we all know she's in good place. We are so sorry about this huge loss. Our Allison is in Finland; and could not access this but wanted you to know how much she loved you all, also!

Deepest sympathies on the loss of Donna! I worked with Donna and Charlotte for many years. She was caring, giving and full of life! I always loved her outspokenness and boy she knew how to make people laugh!! I know how much she loved her family and children. She will be missed.

I am lost without you. To say That you were my wife is an insult to you...... You were my LIFE
