Donna Marie DeGeorge Shuart

Donna Marie DeGeorge Shuart, 74, of West Palm Beach, FL, peacefully passed on August 8, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.



Donna was born in Nyack, NY on May 5, 1951, to Valentino and Edith DeGeorge. After the death of her biological mother at a young age, Donna was blessed with an incredible stepmother, Constance, who treated her as her own. She was also later blessed with her beloved stepfather, Charles DeJoie Jr.



Donna attended high school in New York before moving to Florida, her "forever home", to pursue a modeling career. During her time as a model, she was featured in over 50 national magazines, including Playboy magazine, but it is important to note that only her beauty was ever on display.



While still in New York, she met the first great love of her life, David Weisman, who has since deceased. From their union, they welcomed two cherished daughters, Jennifer, and Lori.



Donna then met her soulmate, Kenneth Jackman. Through their 20-year marriage, they welcomed three more beloved children: Kenneth Jr., Michelle, and Shaun. Her 5 children were her greatest pride and joy, and they will miss her very much.



Donna loved life and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was known for her vibrant spirit, her contagious sense of humor, and her ability to always leave a lasting impression. She loved listening to her favorite artist, Joni Mitchell, had a deep love of animals, and had an appreciation for the finer things in life. She lived a life full of adventure and was a friend to all whom she met. To know Donna was to love Donna.



She is survived by many loved ones including her sisters Carol (Ron) Watson, Lynn (Eric) Savage, and Susan DeGeorge; her children Jennifer Weisman-Diaz, Lori Garden, Kenneth (Linda) Jackman Jr., Michelle Jackman, and Shaun Jackman; her grandchildren, Ashley Mendez, Leon (Sharleen) Mendez-Weisman, Noel Mendez, Olan Mendez, Michael Diaz Jr., Naiya Garden, Aléa Garden, Mikayla Jackman, Leah Jackman, Janine Hill, Zoe Hill, Raymond Hill, Jayden Hein and Kaya Jackman; her great-grandchildren, David Mendez-Weisman, Nathaniel Mendez-Weisman, Evie Mendez, and Noel Mendez Jr.; and her fur baby, Lady.



Donna now joins her parents, Valentino and Edith DeGeorge; her beloved stepparents, Constance and Charles DeJoie Jr.; her brother, Bruce DeGeorge; her sister, Kimberly Simpson; and her first husband, David Weisman, in heaven. We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she loved so dearly, beginning her next great adventure with them by her side.



All who knew and loved Donna are invited to attend her celebration of life on Saturday, August 30th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale. In accordance with her final wishes, the family requests that attendees wear white. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna's memory to the Humane Society of Broward County.



Donna's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever.
