Donna Kaye Lillard

Memphis - Donna Kaye Lillard passed away on March 16, 2024. Born on December 30, 1961, to Peggy and Robert H. Lillard, Sr., in Jackson, Tennessee, Donna graduated from Briarcrest High School in Memphis and the University of Mississippi, from which she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

After working in public accounting, Donna began a long career in the investment industry, primarily as a Compliance Officer at such firms as NewSouth Capital Management, Wunderlich Securities, and Vining Sparks. Donna's meticulous nature and commitment to always doing the right thing were perfectly suited to her compliance work.

The rescue, nurturing, and companionship of her cats meant a great deal to Donna. Many cats lived a longer and more pampered life than they would have otherwise, thanks to Donna's love, care, and devotion. Donna also enjoyed dining out, movies, reading, and following Ole Miss sports.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister Cindy Howell. She will be missed by her sisters Debbie Diddle (Dr. John Diddle) and Dr. Lisa Oglesby (Grey Steed), both of Knoxville, Tennessee, her sister Kathy Lillard of Kalispell, Montana, and her brother, Dr. Robert H. Lillard, Jr. (Kathryn) of Frankin, Tennessee. Donna also leaves numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Family and guests will meet in the Overton Suite of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, on Monday, March 25, at 12:30, prior to a graveside service at 1:00.
