Donna A. Miller

MILLER – Donna A., 71, Windber, died July 10, 2009. Born March 4, 1938, in Johnstown, daughter of James and Esther Gauntner. Preceded in death by parents and other beloved family members. Survived by her husband, Clarence Franklin Miller; son, David Miller, married to Kellie Miller; daughter, Leslie Miller-Robison, married to Chris Robison; brother, James Gauntner; sister, Marian Eckenrode; grandchildren: Ryan Robison, Amanda Miller, Max Robison, Ethan Robison and Alex Miller; nephews, James Eckenrode Jr. and James Gauntner Jr.; niece, Christy Long; aunt, Cecilia Connell; and grandnieces: Anna Eckenrode, Jackie Gauntner and Jessica Gauntner. She was a graduate of Bishop McCort High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a registered medical technologist at local hospitals in Johnstown. She was co-owner of Miller Motor Co. along with her husband. She was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. She was a member of the Johnstown Genealogical Society. Friends will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Committal service will be held at Dunmyer Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Windber Hospice, 500 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963.
