Donna Pavlich Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 16, 2025.
Donna Rae Pavlich, age 79, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025. A lifelong resident of Joliet, Donna was born on February 26, 1946, to Walter Wide and Velma (Komar) Buczek.

Donna attended St. Thaddeus School and graduated from St. Francis Academy. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Donna is survived by her husband, Louis R. Pavlich, and their five children: Jeffrey S. Pavlich, Timothy A. Pavlich, Amy L. (Pavlich)Fournier, Jason E. Pavlich, and Tammy R. Pavlich.

She was a proud grandmother to Jacob Fournier, Katlyn Fournier, Kristina Fournier, Anastasia Pavlich, and Alexandrea Pavlich, and great-grandmother to Andy Fournier and Matthew Fournier.

Donna was known for her creativity and enjoyed crafts and collecting throughout her life. Her strength and optimism were an inspiration-she was a stroke survivor of over 30 years and faced cancer with unshakable faith and courage. She was deeply loved and admired for her resilience, warmth, and fighting spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilyn (Wide)Witt.

A private family memorial will be held in her honor. Donna has been laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.

No donations are necessary. The family kindly asks that you remember Donna in your prayers and include her in your Catholic Mass intentions.

Sorry for your loss. Though many years ago, I still have fond memories as a kid of being at your house and interacting with your mom and dad. Will always be a fone memory of my grade school days.
