I knew both Donna and Doug at Midpark High School, class of 1971. I will always remember her smile, especially cheering at the football games. She had the most beautiful smile and was always so happy. I could tell she and Doug loved each other very much. I am very sorry to hear of Donna's passing. Love and prayers are sent your way to you and your family. God Bless You.

Aunt Donna was always the life of the party. Her endless stories and laughter brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. I love that she called herself the "favorite Aunt Donna" since we had 3 aunt Donnas. :-) I will miss her strong hugs. Thankful for the hope we have in Jesus that we will see her again one day.

My fondest memories of Aunt Donna always involve laughing hysterically. She was always the life of the party and told them most animated stories. She loved with all her heart. I am so thankful for her relationship with Christ and the hope this brings. She will be loved and missed.

My memories of Donna and Doug Starkey go back to the eighth grade. Back then, Doug was the quarterback on our junior high football team as well as a star basketball player. Donna was a cheerleader and she was probably the most beautiful girl in the school in a school that had many pretty girls. It wasn't just her outward beauty though. It was her spirit. She was always open, welcoming, generous, and friendly to everyone. I have to be perfectly honest and say that like a lot of boys in our class, I had a crush on Donna for a time back then. But Donna always had eyes for only one boy in our class and that was Doug.

After we graduated from high school, we all drifted off and went our separate ways. I was very happy to be able to reconnect with Donna and Doug on Facebook several years ago. That connection allowed me to see what a wonderful life Donna and Doug had put together a life filled with the riches of children, grandchildren, and love. It is a life that is complete.

I know that Donna gave it her all as she battled her illness. That's just the way she was wired. Never give up. The battle is now over and she can rest. The pain of losing her will be with her family and friends forever. But, I hope that we all will be able to live in peace, knowing that Donna will continue to live on in our hearts and through her children, her grandchildren, and their children for generations yet to come. Rest in Peace Donna. We will never forget you.

Jim and Bekah may God soothe your souls as well as your hearts at this difficult time. Aunts are like mothers just more fun and allow you to get away with things. We know this is not good bye just until we meet again. Comfort others in the same way you've been comforted and God will continue to bless and keep you! Godspeed!

My deepest condolences for all the Starkey family. Donna was such a special woman of faith who's big smile and laughter always brought joy to those around her. The last time we spoke she shared how much fun her grandchildren were and her eyes sparkled talking about them. I remember the mother daughter banquet she planned for the church, she did a great job and it was obvious the special importance she placed on her relationship with all of her daughters. She would talk about every day events and giggle telling stories that would leave you laughing hysterically. She always had a gift for spreading joy.
Many prayers for Doug, the girls and the rest of the extended Starkey family. I know she will be deeply missed, prayers for Gods comfort and peace.

We met Doug & Donna through a photo fundraiser they were doing for Hannah's softball team. They are two of the kindest people you could ever meet. From the moment we met her she had the sweetest smile and was so nice and a great listener. Our daughter Rileigh immediately started talking Donna's ears off and she patiently answered all of her questions about anything and everything. Last August, while photographing my sister-in-laws wedding, Donna listened to Rileigh talk about how excited she was that her friend and Donna's frandson, Connor would be joining her at Carlin. Even though she wasn't feeling very well that day Donna kept a smile on her face and pushed through. We are glad to have been blessed with the kindness and smiles from Donna in the short time we knew her. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family.

My mom always was laughing, or making us laugh. Her laugh is one of the things I will miss the most about her not being here. One of my favorite stories about her is from when we were very young, we were in the back seat of this tiny hatchback car they had, and all three of us were arguing, she told us to stop, but we didn't listen....she pulled up to a red light, and reached into the grocery bag and pulled out this long loaf of French bread she had just gotten at the store, and she proceeded to swing that loaf of bread over the front seat hitting us, as we dodged and giggled and squealed! Of course the people in the car next to us just kind of stared at us....but the laughter broke up the argument, and although I don't remember much else about that day, where we went or what we were doing, the French Bread Incident will always make me look back and smile!

Tiffany, I met your mom the first time when we did the Couch Potato to 5K. She was so spunky and full of life. I loved running with her when I was able to keep up. I'm so sorry for your families loss but so glad you have such wonderful memories of the wonderful woman she was.

Our sweet loving mom and Grandma Jeep you will be missed so much. I remember a time when Mom babysat Cam, and I got a text that included a picture. It said "Cam's ok but he got a little too close to the lake". The picture was Cam in his undies on the couch. Grandma Jeep to the rescue though, she had his clothes, and shoes washed and ready to wear when I came to pick him up❤ She loved her grand babies so much and would do anything for any of us.
We love and miss you so much mom❤ Forever in our hearts.

Aunt Donna was such a spunky, fun person! She was always laughing and smiling and always had a story to tell. I remember one time when she was working at portage vision care, we had a gorilla deliever her cake and balloons at work for her birthday (I think it was her 50th maybe?) and we surprised her there too. The look on her face was hilarious and of course she was smiling and laughing! I still have my wedding bouquet that she made for me too and will cherish it forever. I am so thankful that she knew the Lord and is in heaven praising our savior and no longer suffering.
