Dora Schaenfield

SCHAENFIELD, Dora (nee Viner) Dora Schaenfield, caring, devoted and always loving mother, wife, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 21th, 2006. Predeceased by her beloved husband Sam of 69 years. Cherished and adored mother to David (Rona), Faye Helman (Moshe) and Susan Cohen (David). Beloved Bubbi Dora to her grandchildren Tamar and Gilad Helman (Lana) and Brett and Hilary Schaenfield and great-grandmother to Noah Helman. Dora will be sadly missed by her siblings Leona Silver (Label), Milton (the late Terry), Gordon (Shirley) and Millie Schaenfield (the late Dave) and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Sylvia Altschuler, Betty Gold, and brothers Dave, Joe and Arthur Viner. Graveside service will be held at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street on Thursday, February, 23rd, 2006 at 1 p.m. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at Hillel Lodge.
