Dorene Melech

MELECH, Dorene Dawn (nee Sorenson) It is with great sadness that we, the family of Dorene, announce her peaceful passing on January 19, 2008 Dorene is survived by her loving family: Victor her husband, friend and soulmate of 51 years, Lezleigh Vikki (Marcel "Frenchy") her daughter and best friend, Bradley David (Lynda) her son of whom she was very proud. Her grandchildren, the joy of her life, Cory Melech, Nicole Melech and Jaden Melech. Brother Allan Sorenson (Faye), sister Lois Sorenson and honorary son Bill Greschuk. Dorene was predeceased by her parents Breffny and Elsie Sorenson. Dorene was a rare and amazing person who excelled in every aspect of her life. She was liked, admired and respected by all who knew her. In addition to being an outstanding wife, mother and grandmother, Dorene's success in her career was without peer. Doreen was employed by Don Wheaton, her very good friend and mentor, as his dealership's Business Manager for over forty years. We wish to thank Dorene's friends who brightened her days by visiting during her lengthy hospitalization. Our family would also like to express our appreciation to Dr. Thomas Ranieri, Dr. Pablo Amigo and the nurses and staff of unit 43, Grey Nuns Hospital, for their compassion and professional competence. At Dorene's request there will be no funeral, Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dorene's Life will be announced at a later date.
