I met Doris at the Yellow Daisy in 1981 when I purchased "Homecoming". It has a special place over my fireplace to this day. It was the first of many prints that I purchased through the years. I saw her at other shows and she even came to my house when she started selling her prints at "parties." She was a gracious, lovely person and I am sad that there will be no more new D. Morgan art to come. My condolences to Ed and the rest of her family.

I live in Tennessee, but am originally from Georgia. My mom and I loved coming to your gallery in Conyers. We would spend hours going through your prints. We both had a an extensive collection. We would be so touched by the sentiments and made sure we had plenty of tissues. My mom passed away 4 1/2 years old. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was so saddened to learn of D. Morgan's death. My mother, sister and I were all huge fans of hers and have several of her prints, books, etc. Two of her prints now hang in my foyer. She was a lovely lady and her beautiful art reflected her sweet, gentle spirit. I will always treasure the prints I have of hers.
