HODGSON _ Dorothy "Jean" born Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan February 8, 1920 passed away at RCH January 28, 2006. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, F. Douglas; daughter Kathi Mullin; grandchildren Rory, Shane, and Brenna; son-in-law Kelly Mullin; nieces Margaret Day, Edmonton, Barbara Peterson, Kelowna; and nephew Lloyd Peterson, Kelowna. Jean was predeceased by son Jeffrey and brother Lloyd Miles. Jean was for many years an active member of St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church, a participant in community events and recognized for 20 years of service with the City of Burnaby Volunteers as well as having many friends within the fellowship of the Ladies Pharmaceutical Society. Jean had a special zest for life which was infectious and joyful and she leaves wonderful memories in the hearts of everyone whose life she touched. She will be remembered as the most loving Mother and Nana and her family will miss her dearly. A heartfelt thank you to all the medical staff at RCH 5 North who cared for mom in her last days. A Memorial Celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
