Chris, many years ago we met your mom on Molokai. We were just there for a few days and met her at the pool. She told us who she was and there you were next to us playing the guitar in no time flat. What a great time we had. Our encounter with her was brief but realized what a wonderful woman she was. We know she was special to you. It was written all over her face. She left a lasting impression on us and we have talked about her often and the fun time we had by the pool with you playing the guitar. We are sad to hear of her passing. What a special lady. Godspeed and peace be with you.

Oh my dot 9 years with you and joe had been a blast I will never ever meet a fabulous woman who could wear something grand or simple you looked grand you taught me how too cook Italian and German dishes down to thrift store shopping or just watching crime news and debate about it you cared and showed me so much love and shared so many stories long and many conversations and advice I will keep yours and Joe’s memories deep in my heart you both behave up there and for Chris and nick and Jeff well my condolences and I don’t need to tell you how deeply your mom had been so proud of all of you and had an unmeasurable love for you all that only a mother can hold in her heart for her boys that only one can see in her eyes when she would speak about you or were looking at you god bless you boys and Dorothy I will see you and joe later LOVE Eddie Cueto

Dear Mr. Nick and Mr. Chris: Your mom was so special. She could read people like a book. She and our late mother Josephine loved music, yard sales, and animals. Dorothy could make us laugh so hard that it hurt. How special to have known her and met your family. Take care.

Met Dorothy in 2006 at her son, Chris' show in Livermore. Became friends and kept in touch via mail and phone. She was the most gracious, beautiful lady with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers with Chris and the family. RIP beautiful lady.
