Douglas G Brigden, age 62, of Yakima, WA died Sunday, September 4th from an aortic aneurysm on a life flight to Seattle. Doug was born in Fort McClellan, Alabama and spent his childhood in different states with his military family. When in 4th grade his father retired and the family settled in Bellevue WA. Doug served honorably in the US Army from May 1980 to May 1983, He was a Merchant Marine achieving Mate and he drove a long haul truck enjoying the rhythm of the road. His greatest loves were his daughters Gabby and Alex. Preceded in death by his parents, Douglas A. and Elizabeth A. Brigden. Survived by his daughters, Gabrielle Brigden and Alexandria Brigden, his brother Mark Brigden(Mitch), Sisters Doris Arnold(David), Catherine Brigden(Steve Rust), and Elizabeth Bauer(James). His nieces and nephews Adrienne Hayes(Arnold), Sean Arnold, Kristopher Bauer, Caitlin Condie(Arnold), Benjamin Brigden Rust, and 6 great nieces and nephews. Beloved father, brother, and friend he will be missed by us all. A Military Honors Ceremony will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday Oct 11th, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
