CALHOUN, Douglas James Elliott
December 1, 1942 to September 12, 2014
Montréal, Quebec
Over 71 years of living ended Friday for Douglas. Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec he lived in Châteauguay, Quebec and Stuart, Florida with his wife Chantal Agnan who survives him. Douglas is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Marcia and Joseph Crawford, his three daughters and their husbands and one grandson; Lisa Marie and Charles- Antoine Fournier, Kimberly Ann and Anthony Balaski and Tanya Lynn, Wendell and Xander Kai Black respectively. Douglas was positive and courageous throughout his two-month battle with heart failure that eventually took his wonderful, loving, productive life. He was an active, faithful and brave Christian Minister of Jehovah's Witnesses who cherished life, loved teaching Bible truths and who sought to make a difference in the lives of everyone he met. His loss is deeply grieved. Services will be held Monday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12700 Boul Metropolitain E, Montreal, QC H1A 4A7.

Within Xerox, I came to know the no nonsense, business approach that characterized Doug in his approach to everything. He was as fervent to his work as to his beliefs.
