Darlene (& Vic),
We were shocked to hear of your brother's sudden passing! We are so very sorry for your loss. I am sorry we were not notified in time to be with you for the Service...otherwise, you must KNOW we would have been there! May God give you peace and comfort during this most difficult time! Please remember we love you!

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart. Uncle Doug we will cherish the memories we shared on your 50th birthday party, forever in our hearts, the memories and pictures will never fade.

Someone so special....can never be forgotten.
A gentle wind blew cross the land
Reaching out to take a hand
For on the winds the angels came
Calling out uncle Doug's name.
Left behind, the ones he loved shedding tears
Loving memories of the years
Of joy and love, a life well spent
And now onto God a husband, father, brother, brother inlaw and uncle sent.
On angel's wings, a heavenly flight
The journey home, towards the light
To those who weep, a life is gone
But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn.
Words, however kind,
can't mend your heartache:
but those who care and
share your loss wish you
comfort and peace of mind.
May you find strength
in the love of family
and in the warm embrace
of friends.
Our Deepest Sympathy

You were a wonderful father with a strong voice and the biggest heart around. When you welcomed us into your family we had to earn your respect, once we got it we were forever a part of you and your family. We will forever miss you but never forget you. May you have a peacefull and loving next journey. R.I.P. Doug. Our hearts will always hold a spot for you.
