NEUMANN, Douglas Jay July 10, 1959 - June 9, 2018 Doug passed into the presence of his Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior to find everlasting peace on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the age of 58 after a heroic battle with mesothelioma. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Doug was known for his integrity, thoughtfulness, and terrific sense of humour. His joys in life included spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting and enjoying his cottage at Pasqua Lake. He loved being outdoors. He was a wonderful husband, a successful business owner, a loyal friend and a true believer in the word of God. Remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sherry Molnar; mother Marguerite; brothers Rod (Molly Barber), Bob (Velvette), and David; sister-in-law Shelley; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Shannon Sullivan, and mother-in-law Beatrice Molnar. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews Kate, Matt, Allison, Lauren, Olivia, Logan, Alex, Shylo, Cael and Cassandra; his uncles, aunts, and cousins and his cat children Velcro and Baby Silver. He was predeceased by his father Paul Neumann and father-in-law Elmer James Molnar. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East on Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship and lunch.
