Sandra taught at several universities and retired from St. Cloud State University, as a Department of Social Work professor. She dedicated her lifework to helping others, addressing social injustices and inequalities for those in need.
Sandra is survived by daughters, Andrea Bishop (Alan), Amber Chesborough (Gordon Bromley), grandchildren Addyson, Aaron, and Alexa Bishop; siblings Barbara Thiem, Susan Spielberger (Richard), Steven Ruegg (Robin), two nieces and two nephews. Condolences may be sent to Andrea Bishop, 42 Winding Oak Dr., Arden, NC 28704.
