It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Duncan Stewart "Stew" McLeod, a beloved friend and community member, who left us peacefully at the age of 91 on September 27, 2024.
He was born in Olds, Alberta, to Ross and Victoria McLeod and grew up part of a large and loving family. In 1960, Stew met the love of his life, Margaret McFadden, in Calgary, Alberta, where they were married. Their love for each other was beautiful to see.
Stew is survived by his daughter, Jodi Crosby, and her family, Forrest and Peter Crosby, his son, Steven McLeod, his brother, Gary McLeod, and sisters, Gay Renyk and Sandra Packford, and their families, as well as a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and friendship will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Stew dedicated over forty years to a successful career in the RV industry, owning two successful businesses. He was known for his unmatched ability to connect with people and his unwavering commitment to customer service. His charm, and genuine interest in others made him not just a salesman but a trusted friend to many.
A man of many conversations, Stew loved to listen and chat with people. He spent countless hours sharing life's tales with friends and family. He was an avid storyteller, always ready with a laugh and a warm smile, making him the life of every gathering. He was a vibrant spirit whose energy and enthusiasm for life touched everyone he met.
A celebration of Stew's life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stew's home, 15246 SE El Camino Way, Milwaukie, OR. Friends and family are invited to share their stories and remember a remarkable man who brought joy to so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Duncan Stewart McLeod's memory.
Rest in peace, Stew. You will be deeply missed.

Dear Friends and Family,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you who joined us in honoring my dad´s life. Your presence brought comfort, your words brought warmth, and your memories helped remind us of the incredible man he was.
To those who helped plan, prepare, and support us during this time, your kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed. From organizing the details to simply offering a listening ear, each gesture made this day a true celebration of my dad's life and legacy.
Thank you for being there, for sharing in our grief and joy, and for helping us create such a beautiful tribute. My family and I are blessed to have each of you in our lives, and we´re grateful for your unwavering love and support during this journey.
