LOCKWOOD, EARL Byron Age 68, of Byron, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 30 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI. Pastor Marty Shouse officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Earl was born December 14, 1945 in Rural, TN, the son of Earl Lockwood and Ollie B. (McAdams) Lockwood. He was a graduate of Cody High School. Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Railroad Conductor at Conrail Northfolk Southern for 34 years. He was a member of the Byron Masonic Lodge # 80. Surviving are: beloved wife, Wendy; four children, Shawn Lockwood of Tennessee, Wayne Lockwood of Grand Blanc, Brittany Lockwood and Fiance Chad Bradley of Fenton, and Jeffrey Henning of Toledo, OH; eight grandchildren, Adrianna Lockwood, Robert Guldi, Andrew Guldi, Tyler Stevenson, Oliver Lockwood, Devon Lockwood, Jace Gonzales, and Jeffrey Henning III; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Anthony; two sister's, Alice "Faye" Sarvis and Barbara Lister; brother, David Lockwood; and many nieces and nephews.
