Edna Beulah Greer, 85

Mrs. Edna Beulah Greer, age 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.

She was born February 8, 1928, near Calico Rock, Arkansas, to Joe and Zelphia Lucy Lane. Mrs. Greer lived in Kansas City, Missouri for over 30 years before moving back to Mountain Home. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home. She loved her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed taking care of her family and cooking for them. She also enjoyed traveling, going to church, watching Reverend Charles Stanley's television programs and listening to Bluegrass gospel music.

She is survived by a son: Kenneth (and wife Glenna) Greer: Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters: Cleota Johnson: Springfield, Missouri; and Reatha Teegarten: Norfork; and a half-sister: Kathy Dickerson: Norfork; four grandchildren: Melanie Basty, Carrie Croson, Misty Ripple and Amanda Koch; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Thurlo Greer; a son: Curtis Greer; a brother: J.T. Lane and a sister: Mamie Parnell.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the New Horizons Church of God with Reverend Don Dow officiating. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery.
